This study aims to examine the status of citizenship status of Indonesian Ex-ISIS based on the provisions of Indonesian citizenship law and siyāsah dusturiyyah, as well as human rights protection for families of ISIS combatants. This type of research is normative legal research, which focuses on legislation. The type of data used is legal material consisting of primary sources (legislation) and secondary sources (books and journals). Data collection techniques are literature studies (library research), collected legal materials are analyzed using inductive patterns presented in the form of narratives as a process to draw conclusions. In the concept of citizenship according to Indonesian laws and Islam WNI ex ISIS is still a citizen of Indonesia, because of the unfulfilled factors that cause the Indonesian Ex-ISIS to lose its citizenship. They have the right to obtain recognition as citizens referred to as citizenship rights, because they are legally still Indonesian citizens.
