abstract: This thesis discusses the evaluation of the use of e-journal as a knowledge
reproduction adopting UTAUT and Hot-Fit Models at the Postgraduate Library of
UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The objectives to be achieved in this research are: (1) To
identify the factors that influence the use of e-journals that have been subscribed
by UIN Sunan Kalijaga library for postgraduate students, (2) To identify the user
behavior of postgraduate students in utilizing e-journals which has been
subscribed by the Postgraduate Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, (3) To identify the
appropriate e-journals access to the system carried out by postgraduate students
subscribed by the Postgraduate Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, (4)
To measure the satisfaction of postgraduate students towards e-journal subscribed
by the Postgraduate Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The approach in
this research is descriptive quantitative. Researchers used random sampling for
collecting data through a questionnaire distributed to postgraduate students as
respondents. The questionnaire distributed in this study used an online system
using a google form. The researcher also conducted interviews with some
informants to answer some questions. Informants taken in this study came from
the postgraduate library management and postgraduate students of UIN Snan
Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Based on the Yamanes’ formula, the sample that must be
taken is 97 respondents. The data collecting technique in this study was carried
out by observation, interview and observation. This study used SEM-GeSCA
which is able to analyze with a combined approach of factor analysis, structural
model, and path analysis which can simultaneously carry out three activities,
namely testing validity, reliability, testing between variables and testing the model
used. The results of this study indicate that: 1. Human Factor, Technology Factor,
Organizational Factor greatly influence the use of e-journals that have been
subscribed by the library by students of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga postgraduate
program, 2. The user behavior that appears based on questionnaires classified as
neutral, which indicates that the respondents were not enthusiastically accessing
the e-journal database of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, 3. It indicates that the
System Use is still low since it is influenced by System Quality (SQ), Information
Quality (IQ), and Service Quality ( SQ), which is also classified as low.
