N2  - Based on the data World Population Review in 2020, Indonesia ranks first as a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Having a Muslim majority population, making Indonesia a rapid growth market & dynamic market or one of the references for the development of the world's Islamic economy. One of the potential sectors considered to have a major influence on economic growth is Islamic banking.
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the Islamic Indices on the performance of the banking firm of sharia in Indonesia in 2010-2019 proxied by earnings growth.
Hypothesis testing is done by using the Eviews-9 test tool, the analysis technique uses panel data regression. The number of samples in the study was 70 with 7 companies sharia banks are listed in the Financial Services Authority. The best model used according to the Chow test and Lagrange Multiplier test is the Common Effect Model.
The results of the t test of the study indicate that the corporate governance variable has a significant positive effect on the performance of Islamic banking companies in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the variable of sharia compliance, social & environment, profit sharing ratio, and Islamic income ratio do not have a significant effect on the performance of Islamic banking companies in Indonesia.
