In order to measures human development UNDP has three indicators, such as health, education, and a decent standard of living. This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of health workers, the number of health facilities, sanitation, the number of teachers, the number of students, the number of schools, per capita expenditure on food, non-food per capita expenditure, and tourist destinations in the Province of NTB in 2015-2020 toward human development index. This study uses panel data analysis with fixed effect model as the selected model. The results of this study revealed that sanitation, number of teachers, number of students, expenditure per capita for food, and expenditure per capita for non-food showed a positive and significant effect on human development index. While the number of schools and tourist destinations shows a negative and significant influence on human development index. Furthermore, the number of health workers and health facility have no effect on the human development index. Thus, it can be concluded that to improve human development, the government needs seriousness through programs in the fields of health, education, and decent living standards. %Z Pembimbing : Dr. Muhammad Ghafur Wibowo, S.E., M.Sc.
