%X This research was made based on the background that the problem lies in
the understanding of exclusivity in carrying out the orders of the Islamic religion in
the realm of social piety which is often practiced in a distorted manner in the realm
of attitudes which hinder the fruitfulness of internalyzing values and beliefs for
students and society who carry pluralistic values. which is inclusive. Thus, learning
the Alquran Hadith at MAN 1 Yogyakarta has the main portion and is the spearhead
for introducing friendly Islam through the explanation of verses and hadiths based
on various historical, theoretical approaches, case studies and inclusive values to
create a peaceful atmosphere and is expected to be able to be a problem solving in
the midst of the misunderstanding of the people of Islam itself. The problems
studied in this scientific research are: (1) Forms of fostering an inclusive attitude in
MAN 1 Yogyakarta, (2) Learning the Alquran and Hadith as a medium for fostering
an inclusive attitude in students, (3) The results of internalyzing an attitude of social
openness based on indicators of inclusive attitude.
This research is a type of qualitative research with an educational thinking
approach. This research took the background of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1
Yogyakarta. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and
documentation. The data validity used triangulation. Data analysis was carried out
by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions.
The results showed: (1) The forms of fostering an inclusive attitude in MAN
1 Yogyakarta in the subject of the Alquran Hadith have been reflected in the
integrative learning model based on historical, theoretical, case studies and oriented
towards inclusive values. (2) The competency achievements of students of MAN 1
Yogyakarta in showing an inclusive attitude are defined in cognitive achievements
that are open to various multicultural thinking, affective achievements that
emphasize particularistic inclusion in social and psychomotor as an optimization of
skills to practice openness in everyday life. (3) Based on the five indicators of an
inclusive attitude that emerged from the author's findings as the subject of
discussion, namely learning the Alquran Hadith in MAN 1 Yogyakarta shows that
the development of an inclusive attitude has been positively realized.
