Emotional changes that are not managed by emotional intelligence will also affect changes in deviant behavior, so there is a need for steps in developing emotional intelligence through fulfilling aspects of emotional intelligence. This study aims to: 1) Know the implementation of the emotional intelligence approach of the Taḥfīẓ Al Quran program in MAN II Yogyakarta 2) Knowing the success of the emotional intelligence approach in the Taḥfīẓ Al Quran program in MAN II Yogyakarta 3) Knowing the implications of the emotional intelligence approach in shaping student morals through the Taḥfīẓ Al Quran program at MAN II Yogyakarta. This research is a type of field research (Field Research), with a qualitative descriptive approach, which is one of the studies that aims to gain an understanding of reality with an inductive thinking process. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation with purposive sampling technique.
