%X This research contains about library promotion efforts at the Balecatur "Sumber Ilmu" Village Library. The purpose of the study was to determine the strategies applied in the Balecatur "Sumber Ilmu" Village Library in promoting. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed based on Sugiyono's theory with a descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the Balecatur "Sumber Ilmu" Village Library uses a promotional strategy to introduce its existence. The strategies used are promotional spending strategies, promotional mix strategies, advertising copy strategies and motivational strategies. Promotion at the Balecatur Village Library emphasizes more on promotions that are social inclusion where the existence of the library must have a real role for the progress and empowerment of the surrounding community. For maximum results, the Balecatur "Sumber Ilmu" Village Library should make promotional evaluations, add variety of promotional media and explore internet media.
