Data collection using documentation methods by\r\nanalyzing the required data, in the form of data sources from various literature that\r\nhave relevance to the theme of research.\r\nThe results showed that: (1) The scope of hadhanah according to As-Sayyid\r\nSabiq's thinking includes understanding, parenting rights, parenting wages, parenting\r\ndeadlines, the right to choose for children who are fostered when they are\r\nadults, haḍin requirements, and the order of relatives who are entitled to parenting, (2)\r\nThe requirements of childcare are of sound reason, puberty, have the ability and ability\r\nto educate children, trust and good ethics, Muslims, unmarried, and independent, (3)\r\nThe influence of the four Imam Mazhab on the thought of As-Sayyid\r\nSabiq haḍanah which includes the opinions of the four Imam Mazhab concerning the\r\nhadis, the differences and similarities of the four imam’s of the sect concerning the\r\nhadith. Starting from this explanation, the author can draw the common thread that\r\nSayyid Sabiq's thinking tends to the Hanafi and Shafi'i imams that the first and\r\nforemost to educate and nurture children is motherhood.
