%T ANALISIS DETERMINAN MIGRASI TENAGA KERJA INDONESIA KE
LUAR NEGERI (STUDI KASUS 38 KAB/KOTA DI JAWA TIMUR)
%X This research aims to analyze how the effect of the district/city minimum
wage, gross regional domestic product, unemployment rate, average years of
education, and labor force participation rate on the migration of Indonesian
workers in East Java districts/cities during the period 2011-2019. The data used is
secondary sourced from BNP2TKI, BPS, and Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan
Transmigrasi of East Java. The analysis method is panel data with Fixed Effect
Model estimation model.
The estimated results obtained with using Eviews 9 software, show that
partially the district/city minimum wage, GRDP, and average years of education
have a negative and significant effect on the migration Indonesian workers. While
unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect on the migration Indonesian
workers, while the labor force participation rate does not have a significant effect
on the migration Indonedian workers in each district/city in East Java.
Simultaneously, the district/city minimum wage, gross regional domestic product,
unemployment rate, average years of education, and labor force participation rate
have an effect on the migration Indonesian workers.
