abstract: The phenomenon of aggression currently occurs a lot in everyday life, both in the family environment, where to live, where to play and also at school. The perpetrators of aggressive behavior nowadays do not only occur in students who brawl but also penetrate various groups. One of them is a football supporter. Aggressive behavior that arises in football supporters usually has high fanaticism and excessive support for the club they love and sometimes turns into riots (anarchic) by destroying various facilities, both stadium facilities and public facilities around the stadium for several reasons. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and permissive parenting on aggressive behavior among football supporters of The Madient PSIM in Yogyakarta. In this study, simple random sampling was used, which means that the members of the sample were taken randomly regardless of the strata in the population, amounting to 240 supporters. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used analyze-correlate-bivariate test. The results of the hypothesis test showed that each independent variable, namely self-control and permissive parenting, had a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05), so it could be concluded that there was a relationship between self-control and permissive parenting and aggressiveness in soccer fans Laskar Mataram The Madient PSIM Yogyakarta. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-control and aggressive behavior in Laskar Mataram soccer supporters at The Madient PSIM Yogyakarta, there is a positive and significant relationship between permissive parenting and aggressive behavior in Laskar Mataram soccer supporters in The Madient. PSIM Yogyakarta, the effective contribution between self-control and permissive parenting on aggressive behavior in Laskar mataram football supporters of The Madient PSIM Yogyakarta is 86.6%. This condition shows that the consistency of the variables of aggressive behavior of Laskar Mataram soccer supporters at The Madient PSIM Yogyakarta
is influenced by self-control and permissive parenting by 86.6% while the remaining 13.4% is influenced by other factors.
