The increase of financing will also increase the financing risk. Especially when the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic that affects the Indonesian economy, especially Islamic banking, where it is estimated that many customers are unable to pay/repay their loans. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that affect the NPF in the period before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Islamic banking in Indonesia, then analyzed the effect of the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic on the NPF. This research is a quantitative research using purposive sampling technique where the sample obtained is 9 Islamic banks. In addition, the data used is panel data using monthly financial reports for a period of 9 months before the Covid-19 announcement, namely from June 2019 to February 2020 and 9 months after the Covid-19 announcement, namely from March 2020 to November 2020. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, then the classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and different tests were carried out. Statistical test results show that the CAR variable has a positive and significant effect on NPF both in the period before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic. The FDR variable has a negative and significant effect on NPF both in the period before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic. The ROA variable has a negative and insignificant effect on the NPF of the period before the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, in the following period, ROA has a negative and significant effect on NPF. The GDP variable has a negative and insignificant effect on NPF both in the period before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic. Inflation and exchange rates have a positive and insignificant effect on NPF in the period before the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, in the following period, inflation and exchange rate have a negative and insignificant effect on NPF. Likewise, the results of the different tests show that the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic does not have a significant effect on the NPF of Islamic banking in Indonesia.} }
