The purposes of this research were to analyze borax in wet noodles using first generation of sunan kalijaga?s high power UV-LED fluorescence spectroscopy system and to determine its precision and limit of detection. This research was conducted in four stages, namely preparation of tools and ingredients, making sample, data acquisition, and data processing. The prepared tools included a set of first generation of sunan kalijaga?s high power UV-LED fluorescence spectroscopy system, while the materials were high protein flour, eggs, salt, and water. The samples were made by mixing all ingredients and rolling them using a pasta machine to form noodles. The data acquisition began with system installation, inputting samples into the system, and data acquisition 5 repetitions for borax contaminants variations of 0%-40% with 78 grams of wet noodle samples. The data processing with results in the form of a spectrum in bins units were carried out using LabVIEW software, while the precision value was calculated using a precision formula and the limit of detection was calculated using a calibration curve. The results showed that the first generation of sunan kalijaga?s high power UV-LED fluorescence spectroscopy system was successfully utilized to analyze borax-contaminated wet noodles. The average precision of the system was 99.78% and it?s limit of detection was 11.60% of sample.
