This is descriptive research with a quantitative approach and this research also uses annual data from twelve Islamic banks that carry out conversions and spin-offs and are registered with OJK. Further, the analytical technique used is panel data regression analysis and difference test with paired sample averages. Panel data regression analysis is used to see the effect of the variables of non-performing financing, financing to deposit ratio, good corporate governance, return on assets, operating expenses on operating income, and Capital adequacy ratio on the growth of Bank assets, while the difference test with the average paired sample used to test the comparison of these variables in the conditions before and after Islamic banks perform conversions and spin-offs. The results of statistical tests show that in the condition of the Bank before the conversion and spin-off, only the NPF and CAR variables have a significant influence on the growth of the Bank's assets. Meanwhile, the condition of Islamic Banks after conversion and spin-off shows statistical results that FDR, GCG, and ROA variables have a significant influence on the growth of Islamic Bank assets. The last stage, which is the paired sample difference test, shows that only the NPF variable has a significant difference when the Bank is before and after conversion and spin-off. From the Bank soundness of Islamic banks, it can increase asset capabilities, so that the quality of bank profits can be maintained and even improved. This research aims to examine such Bank soundness using the Risk-Based Bank Rating (RBBR) method to see its effect on the growth of Islamic Bank assets before and after conversion and spin-off.
