DENGAN KECANDUAN SMARTPHONE PADA REMAJA AKHIR
%X This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and loneliness with smartphone addiction in late teens. The data collection tools used in this study used a self-control scale, a loneliness scale and a smartphone addiction scale. The sample in
this study amounted to 385 subjects with an age range of 17-21 years with a sampling technique using quota sampling. The data analysis technique are using multiple regression analysis techniques and the technique to test correlation are using Pearson's product moment. Based on the results of the data analysis by test of multiple regression analysis on the major hypothesis in this study, it was found that there was a relationship
between self-control and loneliness with smartphone addiction simultaneously, with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The results of the analysis to test the minor hypothesis using the Pearson product moment correlation test, showed a negative
relationship between self-control and smartphone addiction in late teens, with a correlation coefficient of -0.114 and p of 0.025 (p<0.05) and there was a positive relationship between loneliness with smartphone addiction in late teens with a correlation coefficient of 0.235 and p of 0.000 (p <0.05).
