%X This thesis examines the dissemination of ta‟aruf discourse among Muslim youth, at Rumah Taaruf-Qu Yogyakarta. This thesis contributes to the study of Muslim youth in transition. This research is a qualitative study using ethnographic method which was conducted for approximately four months. The data in this study were obtained through field observations, namely by being actively involved in every event or activity held. In addition, I also conducted in-depth interviews with Muslim youths who are actively participating in study (kajian) at Rumah Taaruf-Qu.  This thesis shows that, the popularity of Rumah Taaruf-Qu as an Islamic matchmaking agency cannot be separated from the use of social media as a medium for disseminating various studies and da'wah themes. This matter has had an impact on the discourse of ta'aruf by packaging Islamic values into popular culture, so that it becomes an Islamic study that is in great demand by Muslim youths. In addition, the Rumah Taaruf-Qu has succeeded in facilitating young people to learn religious knowledge, namely as a morality workshop, so that they can fortify themselves from promiscuity.  The Muslim youth who are members of the Rumah Taaruf-Qu come from diverse backgrounds, both socially, educationally, and occupationally. In this case, there are three categories of Muslim youth who are incorporated, namely Muslim youth who already have permanent jobs, and students who are currently studying in Yogyakarta, and Muslim youths who do not have permanent jobs. Of the three categories of Muslim youth, they have the freedom to continue the ta'aruf and cancel it, if the couple does not get along, and have the freedom with whom and when to marry.
