The student ability critic thinking in this learning that actually can guidance students for know the meaning of history. One of learning method who has applied the teacher in this case constructive learning. Constructive learning application in learning Islamic Culture History give students opportunity for more active to develop their ability and potential include in critic think of learning ability. The participant of students in this learning process that can make his eagerness of himself. Kind of research that used in this research mXIed method with concurrent triangulation type (mXI method qualitative research and quantitative research on balance). The technique of collected data in this research use observation, interview, documentation, and written test. (pre-test and post-test) while source of data takes from the headmaster, vice headmaster of curriculum, Islamic Culture History teacher, staff and students of XI class in Islamic Senior High School (MAN 2) Central Lombok. Analysis data in this research do as qualitative and quantitative. qualitative data base on reduction research (conclusion and choice important thinks) and then translated or explained data and next collected conclusion. While quantitative data with experiment that use one group pretest ? posttest (where sample group) given treatment but sample pretest know in advance through pretest. After give the treatment the result of research to observe with give the post test. The result of research to show that: 1) the constructive learning application on Islamic culture history subject XI class in Islamic senior high school (MAN 2) central Lombok not yet maximal do by teacher; 2) the result of pretest. The ability critic thinking of student class ?IKG? is on category enough, class ?IBB? is on category class, less ?IIS? is on category less and ?MIA? is on category enough. If counted in all ability critic think of student is on category enough. Based on the result of posttest, the ability critic thinking of student class XI IKG, IBB, ISS, and MIA is on category good. Mean, ability critic think of student will be increase; 3) Be found the rising of the ability critic think student class XI on Islamic Culture History subject through constructive learning in Islamic senior high school (MAN 2) central Lombok that doing by researcher. In this case show with student activation to search information related learning material, bravery student to show his opinion, asking and clarification the suitable between concept in learning material with application in the field (the real world); 4) the problematic of the constructive learning material on Islamic culture history subject class XI in Islamic senior high school (MAN 2) Central Lombok is the used of learning method is not variation and still low degree of student read or literacy PB - SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA KW - Pembelajaran Konstruktivis KW - Berfikir Kritis KW - Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam.
