Professionalism is very influential on the world of education, therefore the role of academic supervision and teacher training education carried out by school principals is very large, because if done regularly it will be able to improve the quality of learning as well as the quality of education in Indonesia. Help or encouragement from the principal to improve teacher professionalism is expected to make teachers able to handle their main task, namely teaching. This study aims to investigate: 1) The effect of academic supervision on teacher professionalism at MTs Negeri 8 Sleman, 2) The effect of education and training on teacher professionalism at MTs Negeri 8 Sleman, and 3) The effect of academic supervision and education and teacher training on teacher professionalism in MTs Negeri 8 Sleman. This research is an expo facto namely research conducted to examine events that have occurred which then trace back to find out the factors that can cause these events. this research using quantitative research methods. The population in this study were all teachers at MTs Negeri 8 Sleman with 41 teachers as respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire and also documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use multiple regression analysis how find out how the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed: 1) There is effect of academic supervision carried out by the principal on the professionalism of teachers at MTs Negeri 8 Sleman which can be indicated by a tcount of 1,485 with a significance value of 0.145 with regression coefficient has a positive value. 2) There is effect between teacher education and training on teacher professionalism at MTs Negeri 8 Sleman. This is indicated by the finding positif value of the regression coefficient (b1) 0.429. At the 5\% significance level, it can be seen that the tcount is 2,087 with a significance value of 0.044. And 3) There is a significant effect between academic supervision and teacher education and training on teacher professionalism. This is evidenced by the results of the F test obtained with an F value of 9.383 with a significance value of F of 0.00 or F is 0.05.} }
