Therefore, the discipline extends to the latest technology ranging from digital forensics, computer forensics, and also mobile forensics. There are several digital forensics and one of them is audio forensics. Basically, audio forensics is more focused on investigating digital evidence related to sound recordings. Therefore, the evidence submitted to the court must be evidence that a valid and have been analyzed by an expert associated with the evidence. Analysis of the recording used in this study is the recording of WhatsApp voice notes using the audio forensic method which consists of Pitch, Formant, Bandwidth, Graphical Distribution and Spectrogram analysis. Hence, to analyze sound recordings, the researcher followed the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) 12 on Audio Forensic Analysis from the Digital Forensic Analyst Team (DFAT). The results of the analysis will be compared with comparative records or other comparative sounds that have been analyzed using the audio forensic method and can be proven by the similarity whether the sound recordings of the evidence are from the same person.
