description: The Among system is the idea of Ki Hadjar Dewantara in education with  the aim of giving proportional attention to each individual. The hallmark of the  Among system is to build good communication between educators and students, so  that there is a strong emotional bond between the two. The Among system also  gives independence to students by means of educators understanding the abilities  of each student, and still paying attention to students so that an educational goal  can be achieved.  This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive  approach. The research subjects were 4 students of SD Taman Muda Ibu  Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta, the Principal of SD Taman Muda  Yogyakarta, the head of the curriculum section, student administrators, two  guardians or teachers of SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa  Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and  documentation. Data analysis techniques used in the form of data collection, data  reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.  The results of the study stated: first, teacher assistance to students from  the Among system perspective includes the planning and implementation of  mentoring. Second, the pattern of implementing the Among system uses the  leadership trilogy of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, namely ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing  madya mangun karsa, and tut wuri handayani. Third, the effect of the Among  system fosters prominent character, namely being religious, independent, loving  the homeland, physically and mentally healthy, socially caring, and responsible
