Edutainment learning in kindergarten can improve children's ability to say words, build vocabulary and make sentences. Edutainment learning in kindergarten can be done in a variety of methods, such as methods of playing, telling stories, field trips, demonstrations, singing and telling stories. The purposes of this study are 1) To find out what the teacher is doing to develop speaking skills of group A1 children in TK ABA Gendingan, 2) To find out how the implementation of edutainment learning for speech development in group A in TK ABA Gendingan Yogyakarta 3) To find out how the level of success the ability to speak early childhood through edutainment learning in group A at ABA Kindergarten Gendingan Yogyakarta. This research used descriptive qualitative research to describe the situations and events that have taken place. This type of research was field research (field research) that was by conducting direct research with the object under study and collecting data found in the field. The research subjects were students in group A1 consisting of eight girls and seven boys. The object of this research was the development of speaking skills through edutainment learning. The research setting was at Bustanul Athfal Gendingan Kindergarten, Yogyakarta, which is located on Jalan Wachid Hasyim no 25 Ngampilan, Yogyakarta. The methods used in data collection were documentation and observation. The results showed for the ability of children to say the word for good criteria there were 86%, developing with sufficient criteria there were 7% developing with lack criteria of 7%. For the ability of children in building vocabulary for good criteria there are 86%, developing with sufficient criteria is 7% and developing with less criteria is 7%. For the ability of children to make sentences for good criteria there is 86% for the criterion is quite absent and the criteria are lacking. There are 14%. Two children who have not yet successfully developed their speaking skills due to parenting factors applied by parents have not supported children in speaking skills. %Z Prof. Hamruni M. Si.
