description: This study aims to determine what factors are differentiating public interest in choosing a financing or credit application. The independent variables in this study are public trust, bank location, bank services, and the rate of return. While the dependent variable is public interest in choosing a financing or credit application. The sample in this study consisted of 50 people who had or will recently plan to apply for financing at Bank BSI and 50 people who have or will recently plan to apply for credit at Bank BRI. Sources of data used in this study is primary data collected through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is discriminant analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variables of bank location and bank services have an influence on differences in public interest in choosing financing applications at BSI Bank or public interest in choosing credit applications at BRI Bank. While the variables of public trust and the rate of return have no effect on differences in public interest in choosing financing applications at BSI Bank or public interest in choosing credit applications at BRI Bank.
