They focus on improving their social status to gain honor from the neighborhood, which is completely opposite to social goal, which is accommodating good communication and interaction among members. The practice leads to social gap in the form of social jealousy/ conflict. A synergy among individuals within community is essential to stimulate the members? sensitive sense into their neighborhood. In response to it, a further study on the level of sensitivity of both local people and settlers of rt 08 rw 17 Nanggulan, Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta to keagamaan activities was conducted. This qualitative research utilized education sociology approach. Data obtained through observation, interview and documentation were qualitatively analyzed, viz. data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion. Data triangulations ? technic triangulation, source triangulation, and time triangulation ? were applied to test the validity. The results show several points. First, Religious activities in local communities resulted in the size of social sensitivity among the community. The existence of religious activities in religion and culture gives value to the quality of the level of social sensitivity of the local community. The social sensitivity of the local community tends to be good for the immigrant community in terms of religion. However, there are several factors that cause the lack of participation of local communities in religion. Second, The sensitivity of the immigrant community is categorized as good, as evidenced by the activeness of the immigrant community in religious activities. This is reflected in the participation of immigrant communities in activities, such as: tahlilan, congregational prayers, weekly studies. And other types of religious activities. And followed by the openness of the local community to the immigrant community in accepting all forms of input and suggestions from the immigrant community. Third, Supporting factors in religious activities include things that can affect people's self-awareness and the environment that supports various community activities, especially in different religious activities and community organizations (ORMAS).
