M.Pd abstract: This study aims to describe students' perceptions of the role of the school library in supporting learning activities at MAN 3 Bantul. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with research subjects namely students of MAN 3 Bantul. The population of this study were all students of MAN 3 Bantul, totaling 701 students, with a set sample of 88s students. Sampling was carried out using the Sampling Insidental method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. The main data collection uses a questionnaire, with the answer measuring instrument using a Likert Scale. Data analysis used the mean and grand mean formulas. Based on the interval scale, the results of students' perceptions of the research indicators are (3.35) which are classified as very good, the results of the indicators supporting reading pleasure are (3.25) which are classified as very good, the results of the indicators increasing information literacy are (3.40) classified as very good, the results of the indicator of developing student abilities of (3.06) which are classified as good, the results of the indicators of a conducive learning place of (3.31) which are classified as very good. Based on the results of the overall data analysis, it is known that the average value is (3.27), and based on the interval scale it can be concluded that students' perceptions of the role of the school lib rary in supporting learning activities at MAN 3 Bantul are classified as very good.
