This research was conducted in the Gresik city with 112 respondents which consisted of 56 mens and 56 womens as husband and wife. Data was collected using the Social Readjustment Raring Scale (SRRS) which consisted of 43 statement items used to measure stress levels. Then, a work-life balance scale consisted of 17 items to measure work-life balance level. The results of the study indicate that there was a significant negative relationship between stress and work-life balance. The results of the analysis obtained a coefficient of r=-0.875 with a value of p=0.000 (p<0.05). This means that there was a significant negative relationship between stress and work-life balance. It could be concluded that, where dual-earnerfamily got higher stress, they also got the lower of work-life balance.
