The data collection technique used accidental sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis of SPSS version 25 for windows. Statistical results show that the regression model used is significant, F (2; 581) = 197.527; p < 0.001; R2 = 0.405. The resulting correlation shows the direction of the positive correlation. This shows that there is a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and social support with problem solving in students. Emotional intelligence and social support are known to influence problem solving in students, namely 40.5%, while the remaining 59.5% is influenced by other factors.
