The research method used is correlational quantitative method. This study uses 3 scales, namely UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3), Social Provisions Scale, and Coopersmith Self Esteem Inventory (CSEI). This research used non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique. The method of data analysis in this study is Multiple Linear Regression with the results: 1) social support and self-esteem have a significant negative effect on loneliness. F (2, 395) = 323,472; p {\ensuremath{<}} .001 with Adjusted R2 = .620. 2) social support has a significant negative effect on loneliness t = - 12,920; p {\ensuremath{<}} .001 with Adjusted R2 = .543. 3) self-esteem has a significant negative effect on loneliness t = -8.975; p {\ensuremath{<}} .001 with Adjusted R2 = .460 which can be predicted by the formula Y = 93,719 - 0.566X1 - 0.233X2. Based on the results of the study, the hypothesis is accepted. The results of the independent sample t-Test show that there is no difference in loneliness between male and female students, and there is no difference in loneliness between students from public universities and students from private universities.} }
