This research is a qualitative research with descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation and documentation methods. The subjects in this research were 1 instructor and 4 people with visual impairments. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of reading and writing Arabic braille guidance method for social welfare services of persons with disabilities for those in need in Balai Rehabilitasi Terpadu Penyandang Disabilitas (BRTPD) Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that the application of reading and writing Arabic braille guidance method for social welfare services for persons with disabilities for those in need in Balai Rehabilitasi Terpadu Penyandang Disabilitas (BRTPD) Yogyakarta uses 5 methods, namely: First, the lecture method in which the instructor explains the material in front of social welfare services of persons with disabilities for those in need or general public and is often interspersed with questions and answers.Second, the question and answer method in which the instructor asks or answers questions, and vice versa. Third, the sorogan method is an individual method in which the instructor goes to the social welfare services of persons with disabilities for those in need to study the material individually. Forth, bandongan method where the instructor explains the material which is clarified and detailed such as a translation or writing instructions. Fifth, the drill method is also called training because it uses continous practice in delivering the material.} }
