This study seeks to determine the effect of GDP, interest rates, and exports on foreign direct investment in ASEAN countries using the corruption perception index as a moderating variable during 2005-2019. This study uses panel data regression analysis with the Common Effect Model (CEM) as the best model analysis. The corruption variable was analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of statistical tests show that all independent variables that is GDP, interest rate and export have a positive and significant effect on FDI. In addition, the CPI is able to moderate GDP and exports in influencing FDI. So it can be concluded that in order to increase investment, the government needs to prevent corruption. Thus the investment trend in ASEAN countries can increase.
