Wasith Achadi, S.Ag., M.Ag. abstract: This research is motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic which requires learning to be carried out remotely in a network with the aim that students can still carry out learning while simultaneously reducing the transmission rate of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia. So digital-based learning is applied to support the learning process. This of course requires adjustments in its application, both in terms of planning, process, evaluation, approaches, strategies and learning methods so that the objectives of learning can be achieved. This has become a new learning model for educators, including Islamic Religious Education teachers. This study aims to determine the concept of planning and the learning process as well as to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as efforts in implementing the digital-based PAI learning model at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a field research with descriptive qualitative analysis using data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The object of this research is a digital-based learning model used by PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem with the data sources being class VII students, Islamic Religious Education teachers, vice principals for curriculum, and IT staff at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem. The results showed that: first, in lesson planning, the teacher continued to prepare the syllabus and lesson plans while still preparing the things needed in the learning process, including: learning approaches, strategies, methods, learning techniques and learning media. Second, the PAI learning process includes preliminary, core and closing activities as well as evaluation. The learning process uses online methods through learning applications inform of thecloud learning and virtual learning. Third, supporting factors include the existence of facilities and infrastructure, teaching staff, IT team, as well as collaboration between school principals, educators, IT teams and also parents/guardians of students. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include unstable internet network connections, applications in learning media, practical activities, and costs.
