Education should continue to improve, especially Islamic religious education. This improvement can be pursued by modifying the concept of thought of the previous figure which was indeed extraordinary and applying it according to the needs of the times. One of the thoughts of a figure that has the potential to be relevant is Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. Rahmah's contribution to Islamic thought was quite a lot, the best known of course was Diniyyah Putri, who was the first female-only educational institution at that time. The success of the institution made Rahmah awarded the title of Sheikh by al-Azhar University. The purpose of this study is to elaborate Rahmah El Yunusiyyah's thoughts with the times, so as to bring up concepts that can be applied appropriately in the 21st century. To achieve this goal, this literature research uses theoretical philosophical analysis. Data collection techniques use documentation, both through primary data and secondary data. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, with the aim of being able to describe systematically and factually about the facts found, then processed and analyzed according to existing procedures in an objective and systematic manner. The results of this study succeeded in revealing that the relevance of the concept of Islamic Religious Education according to Rahmah El Yunusiyah in Islamic Religious Education in the 21st century is at least three, first, special education for women so that women's material can be explored more deeply and vulgarly, without any shame, worry, and awkward, because there is only one gender in one room. Second, scientific transformation, which combines general and religious lessons in a balanced way. Third, contextual education and engagement with the community, because the purpose of studying religion is not only to think or contemplate God, but also how humans can practice these teachings in everyday life. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. H.
