Through assessment, teachers can design learning programs according to the interests, abilities and needs of children so that learning programs are carried out properly in stimulating children's growth and development optimally. Thus, there are three main focuses in this research, namely: First, analyzing authentic assessment strategies carried out by teachers in improving the quality of PAUD learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, exploring the evaluation and implications of authentic assessment strategies in improving the quality of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Third, knowing the problems faced by teachers in implementing authentic assessment strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study research design which was carried out at two Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions, namely the Qurrota A'yun Integrated Islamic Kindergarten and Ar- Raudah Kindergarten in Bandar Lampung City. The subjects in this study were the principal, 2 teachers, and 3 parents and guardians of students who had been previously selected based on predetermined criteria. Collecting data using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used three stages of research, including data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation of data collection techniques. The results show that: 1) Qurrota A'yun Integrated Islamic Kindergarten and Ar-Raudah Kindergarten have implemented the 2013 Curriculum so that the assessment strategy uses an authentic approach in improving the quality of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The strategy is implemented through various stages: planning an authentic assessment strategy, implementing an authentic assessment strategy, and processing the results of authentic assessment data, 2) evaluation of authentic assessment strategies is carried out through online meetings to determine strategies related to the procedures and methods applied should be discontinued, modified or continued. This has implications for the teacher's process in improving the organization, delivery and management of higher quality learning, 3) the problems faced by teachers in implementing authentic assessment strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic: the distance learning system that creates obstacles for teachers in carrying out assessments and being busy parents who have to divide work and mentoring when their children study from home.} }
