This progress is also accompanied by digital crimes that are increasingly difficult to detect and prove. For example, during digital transactions, one party uses a false identity to deceive the other party. Because it was a digital transaction, it will be very difficult to comfirm the real identity of the deceiver. Those criminals can also easily delete all evidence or files that are used to trick victims, either by deleting, formatting, frozen, and even to the level of encryption the files just to avoid forensic investigator finding the digital evidence that can endanger the disclosure of crimes by the perpetrators. This study aims to implement the Digital Forensic National Institute Of Standard Technology (NIST) method as a means to prove crimes through online money borrowing scam that only requires collateral in the form of several photos such as selfies with Identity Cards (KTP) and Family Card photos. In this study, it was found that the analysis of digital evidence in the form of edited/fake selfie images and in the form of deleted files can still be proven using recovery files and detected using Error Level Analysis techniques. %Z Dr. Bambang Sugiantoro, S.Si., M.T.
