Bullying, which is actually a problem that has occurred in the real life, now has become commonplace in cyberspace. Cyberbullying can happen to anyone from various backgrounds, but mostly cyberbullying affects artists and public figures. Cyberbullying is usually carried out by individuals or groups of people who do not like or seek attention with victims, some people of them even do it intentionally just for personal pleasure. One of self-defense and protection by cyberbullying’s victims is usually by searching for the perpetrator's personal data, with legally or illegally ways. But not infrequently the search for personal data is carried out not in accordance with existing procedures, victims usually search for the identity of the perpetrator without the help of law enforcement officials, if the cyberbullying perpetrator's personal data has been obtained, the victim will spread the identity of the perpetrator, this is what is considered as doxing behavior. The nature of this research is comparative descriptive. Meanwhile, the type of this research is library research. In this study the author uses the theory of Islamic criminal law. These data were analyzed by inductive method by analyzing from problems that are specific to things that are general. The results of this study indicate that the similarity of opinion in Positive Law and Islamic Criminal Law when examined with Islamic criminal law, then both are equally appropriate. Neither of the two laws specifically mentions the words "cyberbullying" or "doxing". The difference between the two laws is that positive law clearly explains what punishment will be obtained, while in Islamic criminal law, ta'zi
