%X This study aims to determine the personality and social competencies possessed by Takhasus trustees in carrying out their roles as trustees. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and the trustee of the takhasus students as a resource person. This study uses interviews and observations as data collection techniques. Based on the results of the research, the takhasus trustee at Islamic boarding schools already have the basic competencies aspect as educator: awareness of their responsibilities as trustee, fair and wise attitude towards students, skill on dling with the children’s problem, and different communication skills because of their different background of thethe trustee.
