N2  - Every individual has confidence and belief in himself when the individual views himself as worthy or vice versa. This has a role in the sense of worth that each individual has. This study aims to describe the sense of worth in former drug addicts. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach. The subjects of this study were three male former drug addicts.The results of this study describe a sense of worth in former drug addicts based on an overall positive evaluation of oneself and feelings related to self-worth, importance of self to others, and self-confidence. The conditions in supporting the process of feeling valuable that come from within are self-acceptance and acceptance of others, ways of respecting oneself and others and gratitude in living life.Factors that affect the sense of worth in former drug addicts are affective factors which are affective experiences with parents. Cognitive factors in the form of standards that he has and confidence in his
ability to achieve goals and self-presentation. Social support factors that are emotional and social groups.
