abstract: This research aims to find out the relationship between adjustment and motivation to study state high school students in Gunungkidul regency on e-learing. This research uses quantitative approaches and data collection methods in the form of questionnaires / questionnaires. The measuring instrument used in this study is a psychological scale in the form of a likert scale. The research population is students of class X, XI, XII from various State High Schools in Gunungkidul Regency. The sample in this study, as many as 392 students, was taken using nonprobability sampling techniques of snowball sampling. The data was collected using a self-adjustment scale and a learning motivation scale. The data analysis technique used is a non parametic test of rho spearmen. The results of the analysis showed that "there is a positive relationship between learning motivation to adjustment in State High School students in Gunungkidul Regency on online learning" with a significance level of 0.000. The higher the level of adjustment of students, the higher the student's learning motivation in following online learning. Vice versa, if the level of adjustment of students is low then the learning motivation that students have will also be low in following online learning. The adjustment variable contributed an effective contribution of 28.3% to the motivation to study in State High School students in Gunungkidul Regency followin e-lerning
