abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of sharia compliance, profitability, growth opportunity, and firm size on the company's decision to practice hedging. The population of this study are non-financial companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in 2013-2020. Sampling was done through purposive sampling method so that a total sample of 96 observations was obtained. The data used in this study is the annual report of each company in JII. This study is a quantitative logistic regression study using the SPSS 25 application. The results show that sharia compliance has a significant negative effect on the company's decision to practice hedging, while profitability, growth opportunity and firm size have a significant positive effect on the company's decision to practice hedging. (hedging).
