        abstract = {Assessment of banking performance is one way to assess and determine the internal state of banking, especially Islamic banking. The various performance appraisal methods use profit elements and override the calculation of benefit values. So it takes a performance calculation that uses an Islamic basis for calculating the benefit value. This study aims to measure banking performance in accordance with the Islamic basis using the maqa{\c s}id Syari?ah index method. This research is a quantitative research using primary data as the main data taken through the banking annual report. Performance assessment uses the Maqasid Shariah Index method using 10 banking samples (Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh) for the 2015 ? 2019 period. The results of the study explain that performance measurement using the Maqasid Syari?ah index has a good influence on banking performance. However, the policies and circumstances of a country have an influence that can affect the state of performance. As with Indonesia, which is superior in education with a value of 3.16. Meanwhile, Malaysia and Bangladesh outperformed the wealth indicator}
