%T MEDIA DAKWAH DALAM PROSES KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL PADA ANAK TUNA NETRA (Studi SMPLB Sri Soedewi Kota Jambi)
%X This study aims to find out what media the da'i use in the process of transmitting da'wah material to blind children (mad'u) at SMPLB Sri Soedewi Jambi. Besides that, it is also to find out how the pattern of applying interpersonal communication for blind children (mad'u) at SMPLB Sri Soedewi Jambi.
This research is a field research using a qualitative approach with the support of empirical and relevant data and research facts. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. After the research data were collected, the data were analyzed using a data reduction model, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results of the research are that the main da'wah media used in the communication process at SMPLB Sri Soedewi Jambi consists of three, namely writing media, braille-based painting media, and audio-visual media or also known as viewing-hearing media. The communication pattern built by the da'i towards the blind mad'u in da'wah activities is direct communication with a pragmatic approach. The curious attitude of blind mad'u tends to affect their attitude in da'wah activities so that they are able to make the nuances of da'wah more lively and dynamic. Media as an important means of transmitting da'wah material, contributes positively to da'i in da'wah activities at SMPLB Sri Soedewi Jambi. Interpersonal communication in the interaction process of blind honey tends to be inconsistent.
