Either it is Great Mosque or Jami’ (principal) Mosque. However, only few number of societies optimize the presence of the mosque for activities that are able to invite society to pray and do other religious activity. In the middle of a village is a small mosque that Indonesian Ministry of Religion determined as National Mosque Model in 2016 namely Jogokariyan Mosque Yogyakarta. Consequently, this research intends to analyze how the public relations are in charge of Jogokariyan Mosque so that it could become National Mosque Model since 2016. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive study which applies deep interview with functional public relation phase by Rosady Ruslan through five phases; planning, organizing, communicating, controlling, and evaluating. Based on this research, the researcher observes from the perspective of public relation management by planning, organizing, communicating, controlling, and evaluating. According to this research, it can be concluded that by public relation management, the mosque is well managed through those five phases so that it could be determined as National Mosque Model in 2016. %Z Pembimbing : Niken Puspitasari S.
