The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Respondents in this study were two visually impaired men aged over 18 years who had completed or still memorizing the Quran. The results of in-depth interviews show that the self-regulation of respondents plays an important role in memorizing the Quran including aspects of metacognitive, motivational aspects, and behavioral aspects. Self-regulation of respondents is influenced by individual factors in the form of strong motivation, behavioral factors which include various efforts made, environmental factors which include the conditions of pesantren (Islamic Boarding), current conditions of domicile and family environment. This study further found that the self-regulation of respondents was also influenced by marital and professional factors and religious factors. In terms of marriage and profession, both respondents have family and work responsibilities. Then the religiosity factor of the two respondents is awareness of God's help, belief in God's promises, and a sense of gratitude for the gift of the Quran. %Z Ismatul Izzah, S.Th.I, M.A
