Tasman Hamami, M.Ag abstract: The focus of this research is: (1) Preparation and Implementation of the thirty Juz memorizing al-Qur'an program in the Utsman bin Affan dormitory (2) Implications of the thirty juz memorizing al-Qur'an program in the development of the religious character of students in the Utsman bin Affan dormitory. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. While the data collection techniques used interview, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis using the model of Miles and Hubberman includes three ways namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results obtained are (1) Preparation of memorizing al-Qur'an thirty juz in the Utsman bin Affan boarding house includes: The objectives of the program of memorizing al-Qur'an, resources, components, facilities, and mentors of memorization programs. While the implementation of memorization of the Koran is monitored by rote memorizers, the existence of written regulations, the use of various memorization methods. (2) Efforts to develop students' religious character are carried out in three ways, Firstly there are strict regulations in the Utsman bin Affan hostel, Second, mentors conduct monitoring and actions to students in relation to manners, morals, and worship activities. Third, the formation of boarding boards to help remind fellow friends in doing good. The implication is the development of students' religious character by imitating the Prophet's character namely: honest, trustworthy, conveying and intelligent.
