The rise of PETI's activities in Hulu Kuantan sub-district seems to have escaped law enforcement monitoring. This is because there are still many dompeng rafts that operate freely and openly. PETI's law enforcement is regulated in Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining. With mining, it will have a negative impact on the environment. This is regulated in Law Number 32 Year 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. The problem in this thesis is how the law enforcement of gold mining without permission (PETI) against environmental pollution in Islamic legal review. This research is a qualitative research data collected from oral and written sources. Oral sources took the form of interviews with the Office of the Environment, the Kapolsek of Hulu Kuantan District, the Head of Lubuk Ambacang Village, the Head of Koto Kombu Village, Miners and the community. While from written sources, namely through books related to the discussion of thesis. The results of this study indicate that the law enforcement of Gold Mining Without Permits (PETI) Against Environmental Pollution In the Review of Islamic Law, law enforcement that is carried out is almost in accordance with Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining, but there are still many law enforcement carried out with the way of consultation with traditional leaders. The view of Islamic law related to gold mining is that mining can be carried out as long as it considers the interests of the public good, does not bring good and environmentally friendly, while PETI damages the environment and harms many parties.
