Men's language is language which is used by men. From the first read, it seems that men have their own languages, and they are sure to use it everytime. Yet is it applicable for all men? This research aims to give understanding of the men's language when it was not used by men, and to prove that men's language was not always applicable for men. Besides, the aim of this research is to give the understanding of the violations' reasons which is done by men. The data sources for the main reference in this research is the talkshow of TED Archive entitled A Message of Peace, Hope and Inclusion which invites Yusuf Islam as one of the speaker at that time. The men's language formulated by Jennifer Coates was used in finding the violation of men's language used by Yusuf Islam. This research used distributional method in analyzing based on the characterization of language. From this research, the result shows that men have their own languages such as minimal responses, commands and directives, swearing and taboo language, compliments and questions which are not always used by men. Thus, there can be resulted that men can speak outside their own languages either in formal situation or not, and it can be regarded as a violation of men's language.Yusuf Islam’s language contains many violations of men’s language.
