%X The choice of words in the Qur'an is not only in the sense of beauty but also the richness of meaning that can give birth to various understandings. The words in the Qur'an are expressed and arranged according to the situation, causing variations in figurative language. Among other surahs, Surah Taha has a uniqueness and peculiarity because it became the cause of Sayyidina Umar bin Khaththab's Islam after hearing the beauty of its composition and style of language. However, the fame of this story is not worth the effort to examine the beauty of the composition and style of language in these verses and suras. Furthermore, to be able to reveal the beauty of the composition and style of the Qur'anic language, an appropriate methodology is needed. Reading using stylistic semantic theory can be considered as an alternative methodology to capture various messages of the Qur'an that may not have been revealed so far. Talking about stylistics, of course using a language approach. If you look at the reality of Islamic intellectual history, the interpretations compiled after the brainstorming of Muslims into schools are much influenced by the theological justification of the schools adopted. As for the medium of this language, it is hoped that it can bridge the tension of interpretation between these schools. This study aims to determine the description of the semantic aspects of stylistics and the effect of meaning arising from the reading of stylistic semantics in Surah Taha. This research is a descriptive-qualitative literature research. In the analysis, the researcher examines forms of preference and deviation, repetition of sounds, distortion of word order, and cohesion of sentence structure. These linguistic phenomena will be grouped into 5 levels as referred to in Syihabuddin Qalyubi's book. Then, the researcher made a conclusion from everything that had been analyzed. The results of this study indicate that the preferences and deviations in Surah Taha are intended to support the meaning and nuances displayed, not only for the sake of the beauty of the poem. Suggestions for further research, stylistic and linguistic studies should be the basis for understanding and interpreting the Qur'an in order to gain a deeper understanding.
