Playing Mobile Legends online game that have a playful experience while playing can have a positive impact on mental health during the pandemic. This study aims to describe the playfulness of online game Mobile Legends players who have psychological problems during the COVID-19 pandemic in Yogyakarta. There are 3 informants in this study who play the online game Mobile Legends and are in Yogyakarta. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection methods are semi-structured interviews and observation. The first result of this study is the presence of playfulness in the three informants: 1) the experience of seeking pleasure, 2) the experience of achieving goals and completing tasks, 3) the temporary experience gained in the game, and 4) negative experiences that make the next playing experience more solid. The second result in this study is that the online game Mobile Legends were used by the three informants as coping with psychological problems felt during the COVID-19 pandemic.
