Because human resources/lecturers of master of Islamic education management UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is considered to be minimal lecturers who have a background in the scientific field of Islamic education management/education management/education administration, some lecturers teach not under the area of expertise/diploma both S1, S2, and S3 certifications. This study uses qualitative research. The subject and object of the study are the Dean of FITK, Deputy Dean II, Head of Masters Study Program, Secretary of Masters Study Program, Chair of the FITK Senate, FITK Masters Staff, Students. In this research, the data collection technique uses interviews, documentation, and observation. Then the data analysis was interviewed. Then the data analysis was carried out by reducing the data, presenting the data that had been collected, and drawing conclusions. The last is a trial of the validity of the data using the technical triangulation method and source triangulation. The results of this study are 1) Implementation of Human Resource Management in the Master Program in Islamic Education Management Master Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, namely through the human resource management function consisting of providing staff which includes human resource planning, recruitment, selection, and placement. While the development of human resources includes training and development, as well as assessment of lecturer performance. 2) Implementation of Human Resource Management in Improving Professional Competence of Lecturers, namely in terms of knowledge is quite good, the ability of lecturers is quite good, lecturer skills are pretty adequate and skilled, the lecturer?s attitude including the first lecturer?s attitude is still minimal but not the entire lecturer; secondly, some lecturers are pretty relaxed, and some are ambitious/suppressing students, third, some lecturers are less consistent in their stance in the learning system.} }
