The selection of the right media can determine the success of learning. In the digital era, electronic media, for example, in e-modules are indispensable. In addition, the learning presented affects the quality and ability of students. Therefore, students have four basic skills, namely critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity and innovation. Indonesian is the language of communication used in learning. In order for the learning objectives to be achieved, you can use the e-module. The purpose of this study is to develop and test the effectiveness of 4C-based Indonesian e-modules to improve learning outcomes. This research uses the ADDIE model R&D research method and the type of research used is pre-experimental design (nondesign) one group pretest and posttest design. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observations, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis used a nor-mality test, homogeneity test, and a difference test of two average t-tests with paired sam-pel t-tests assisted by statistical calculations of SPSS 16 for windows. The field test sample totaled 60 grade IV students. The design stage consists of five steps, namely (a) analyzing needs through observation, interviews, material selection and student environment; (b) designing e-modules by specifying KI and KD, creating flowcharts, designing the design of the initial draft of e-modules in word format, creating a testing strategy; (c) product development, expert validation and product revision; (d) implement by field trials; (e) validate the product by providing pre-test and post-test from before and after the use of the 4C-based Indonesian e-module. The results of the e-module design research use the Articulate Storyline 3 application which integrates 21st century skills. The feasibility of e-modules based on material expert validation obtained an average percentage of 81.54%, media expert validation obtained an average percentage of 79.11%, language expert validation obtained an average percentage of 76.66% with valid/feasible criteria. Field trials obtained an average percentage of 84.48% with practical or feasible criteria. Pre-test and post-test e-module are known to have a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.005 resulting from the two-on-average difference test using paired simple t-tests so that significant differences are obtained between pre-test and post-test data. Then it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Learning outcomes of e-modules Indonesian based on 4C before and after being given treatment show differences that can affect the learning outcomes of grade IV students. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Aninditya Sri Nugraheni, M.Pd.
