This study aims to 1) describe the implementation of muhadarah activities in training linguistic intelligence and self-confidence of fifth grade students of Islamic elementary school Ar-Risalah Ponorogo; 2) describe the role of muḥāḍarah activities in training the linguistic intelligence and self-confidence of fifth grade students at the Islamic Elementary School of Ar-Risalah Ponorogo; 3) identify the factors that support and hinder the implementation of muhadarah activities in training the linguistic intelligence and self-confidence of the fifth grade students of Islamic Elementary School, Ar-Risalah Ponorogo Modern Islamic School. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The research was carried out in the fifth grade of Ar-Risalah Islamic Elementary School with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and also questionnaires as data to support the research. To test the validity of the data, the researchers used a triangulation technique which was then analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data and in the last stage, drawing conclusions. The results showed that the muḥāḍarah activities carried out twice a month by fifth grade students of Islamic Elementary School Pondok Modern Ar-Risalah played an important role in training students' linguistic intelligence and self-confidence. In this activity, some of the language skills of the fifth grade Islamic elementary school students at the modern Islamic boarding school Ar-Risalah already looked good, but there were still many who did not. Meanwhile, their self-confidence in muḥāḍarah activities as a whole is quite good. This is also evidenced by the acquisition of the questionnaire results as supporting data regarding the self-confidence of class V students in muḥāḍarah activities of 72.37% in the good category. However, the muḥāḍarah activities carried out by the fifth grade students of the Ar-Risalah Islamic Elementary School, there were several supporting and inhibiting factors for the activity. The supporting factors include: 1) muḥāḍarah ustāẓ/ustāẓah supervisors and class V KMI students; 2) Miliu modern cottage in Indonesian; 3) Learning in the classroom xvi already has adīṣ, Maḥfuẓot, Tafsir lessons that can support the delivery of verses in speech texts; 4) Examples of speeches from seniors and supervisors that are obtained continuously. While the inhibiting factors are: 1) There is no spirit of competition, and 2) Muḥāḍarah supervisors who change every year. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Dailatus Syamsiyah,S.Ag. M.Ag.
