This research is a research on the development of school culture to improve school image by using quantitative research methods. This study aims to analyze the relationship and magnitude of influence between variables of school culture development with improving school image. This research is based on Jon Saphier and Matthew King's theory of culture which states that culture is formed through activities at school every day. The culture refers to how to handle attitudes or problems faced so that the image of the school will shape and reflect the school culture. The study was conducted at State Madrasah 1 Yogyakarta involving 715 students who were used as a population with a sample of 272 students who were determined using the stratified random sampling method. The variables used consist of independent variables (school culture) and dependent variables (improvement of school image). Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS 24 application by performing correlation tests and regression tests. The results of the bivariate correlation test resulted in a correlation coefficient of 0.693 and a significance value of 0.000 or less than = 0.05. This means that this research shows the results that there is a positive relationship between the development of school culture and improving the image of the school in the sufficient category so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on the simple linear regression test, it is shown that the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.591 which indicates that the Y variable (school image) can be explained by the X variable (school culture) by 59%. The significance value of the regression test is 0.000 < = 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that the variable of school culture development has a positive and significant impact on improving the image of schools in State Madrasah 1 Yogyakarta by 59.0%.
